The Camox is a great all-around ski for freestyle riding in any terrain and condition. The 97 mm waist offers great float for deep powder while the responsive flex increases edge grip on hard snow. A solid flex underfoot combined with a softer flex in tip and tail makes the ski stable at higher speeds while being playful enough for creative riding.
An all-mountain/powder ski for intermediate to advanced level riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially designed to deliver the best performance in powder. While giving you the edge hold for fast turns on hard snow anywhere on the mountain.
The nose of the directional shape is slightly wider than the tail. The binding and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases stability at higher speeds and the float in soft snow.
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the nose and tail. The enormous float of the rockered tips improves manoeuvrability in deep snow while the camber underfoot provides edge hold, pop and response.
The poplar wood construction creates a reliable and responsive ski with excellent pop. In addition, the ski becomes robust, durable and lightweight. The semi-cap technology firmly connects the surface with the ski. This construction keeps the swing weight down and enhances the durability of the tips. ABS sidewalls provide durability and shock absorption in any terrain and snow conditions.
In 2005 two proffesional skiers Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet were looking for the perfect powder ski. They couldn't find exactly what they were looking for - so they designed thier own. The rest is history.
