The Bent Metal Transfer binding features a Polymer Highback and responsive Magnesium drive plate to offer you the perfect amount of precision and control, so you can use this binding for both freestyle and freeriding in any type of terrain. Bent Metal bindings are partly made at Mervin in the USA. You know, that place those great banana boards come from. Here they give each binding that little extra, thanks to high-performance composites that are more environmentally friendly.
The medium flexing Engineered Polymer Highback is made of Nylon to provide you with the right amount of flex for all terrain, everyday performance, and comfort. The highback has an asymmetric construction, so you get flex where you want it and support where you need it.
Flex control drive plates are built from a number of layers to provide you with the right amount of power and flex. The Transfer features a Magnesium Drive Plate that has a medium flex. It is constructed from a top layer EVA foam footbed to provide you with dampening and a fibre reinforced nylon carriage at the bottom. The layers between consist of an ecological top and bottom sheet, two layers of magnesium fibres and a poly core. This gives the base the medium flex and the necessary response. The Pivot Discs are compatible with 2x4 and The Channel™ mounting patterns. The reduced size increases the true board flex.
Bent Metal bindings feature Light Form ankle straps that are lightweight with a performance core thanks to the Advanced Imeva Foam formula. The Light Form toe straps provide a moulded grip to secure the strap on your boot. They feature a dynamic fit, are very lightweight and give you maximum performance. The Forged Aluminium buckles allow for super smooth entry and release that does not break down.
Bent Metal is a fresh face in the snowboarding scene. As part of the Mervin Family, the company is making noise. With components made in the USA and a stacked team, you can count on them for quality.
