The Hi construction of this truck allows you to use wheels with a larger diameter due to the increased distance from the axle pin to the deck. This also reduces the risk of unpleasant wheel bites and therefore lets you land your tricks more safely.

The width of the trucks should roughly match the deck. The truck size either specifies the width of the truck itself (axle width) or the width of its hanger.
