The Vans Encore is a soft flexing snowboard boot for women, with a Boa coiler system which allows for super-fast tightening and releasing of your boots. It has Instep Flex zones that will make your boot feel comfortable right out the box, no awkward break in period.
The Coiler Boa is a tong-mounted single reel system with different guide radiuses to optimize closure force in specific areas of the boot. The Boa will provide you with a secure closure, advantage over other lacing systems because of its mechanical advantage, micro and on the fly adjustment, targeted and active closure and a fast system. Furthermore a Boa system does not stretch, so you will experience a constant fit independent of moisture or warmth. A pleasure cuff on the back of your boot will feel comfortable on your calves, while a heat retention layer between the outsole and liner will keep warmth inside and cold outside of the boot. An internal Web harness will keep your liner tight around the feet for a locked feel. Instep Flex zones help when putting your boots on and will give you a ridden in, comfortable feel right from the start. A Reversed waffle outsole finishes off the outer boot construction with a one piece rubber sole that minimizes footprint while it maximizes boardfeel and traction.
The Trifit-X-Liner features a dual density, heat moldable core as well as an asymmetrical X-cage that works in harmony with the bones and ligament structure of the ankle and lower leg to create an anatomical and supportive fit, which results in the most secure heel hold available. The closed seam brushed fleece cuff, Ultracush interior cushioning and Comfort Flex toe box will keep your feet cozy in all conditions. The Low volume Agion sole keeps the contact with your bindings as natural as possible.
The V2 footbed offers a 3D-molded anatomical shape that features a dual-density Ultracush construction with forefoot and heel impact absorption.
Please take care to measure your feet accurately. Snowboard boots are made in either US or Mondopoint (cm) sizes.
For your Mondopoint Size, measure your larger foot in centimetres with your heel against a hard surface.
Please consider that your usual European (EU) size, may be different in a snowboard boot.
When your boots arrive, if they feel tight, don't panic! Snowboard Boots have foam liners which will wear in over time.
