The Chukka is one of the classics from Vans. The Chukka Low with Sidestrip was designed by the Vans Skate Team and inspired by classics like the Authentic.
Combining a molded polyurethane footbed with the patented ImpactSorb® heel pad, you'll get unprecedented cushioning on your skateboard that's guaranteed to stand up to tough tests. The Vans polyurethane footbed also keeps your foot as close to the board as possible with new PopCush technology for maximum board feel and perfect cushioning.
In 1966 Paul van Doren produced the first shoe soles that were twice as thick as their predecessors. He used pure crepe rubber without any fillers, so it wasn't long before skaters began to appreciate the qualities. Board feeling, good damping properties and perfect grip - Vans was born.

I bought this shoe, because I wanted to have a shoe with maximum boardfeel with classic look. I bought size us8,5 even I am normally around size us9. I like tight feeling for the fit when I am skating. This size worked perfectly for me.

I have been skating indoor parks and and few outdoor sessions with these shoes now and the are perfect. They were good to skate ready from the box and that is what I love about the Vans shoes. Grip from the sole is perfect and padded collar is perfect for me to keep my heel still. I also like a bit puffier tongue compare to similar style shoes. It offers a bit more protection without compromising how the shoes are feeling. Popcush insole works also perfectly for me, so I don't have to use any specific insoles.

If you are looking for a basic skateshoe with a classic look, this could be perfect. From transitions to the streets, it covers all you're needs!

Ich liebe Vans und wollte den Chukka mal ausprobieren. Die Passform stimmt bei mir mit Größe 42 Perfekt. Er ist sehr bequem. Die Sohle ist sehr angenehm, was ich persönlichsehr gut finde.

Der Schuh ist beim Skaten super Robust und der Tragekomfort ist grandios. Er fühlt sich für mich im Gegensatz zum Old Skool Skate nochmal besser an und das Skategefühl ist nochmal besser. Die vernähte Sohle macht den Schuh nochmal Robuster. Die Pop Cusch Sohle ist super angenehm zu tragen. Die Sohle macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck, ohne das sich die sohle so schnell ablöst , wie bei anderen Skate Schuhen. Besser wäre es, wenn die Sohle wie beim Kyle Walker vernäht wäre.

Dieser Schuh ist sehr angenehm zu tragen, nicht nur beim skaten. Er ist sehr gut verarbeitet und hinterlässt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Alle Daumen Hoch
