The Union STR is the binding for stepping up to larger drops and more technical lines all over the mountain. A great all-mountain/freestyle binding for advanced riders looking for long-lasting all-mountain performance at an accessible price. The STR features everything you would expect from Union's high-end technology: a durable Stage 5 base, STR2 highbacks and Exoframe straps.
Highback
The medium flexing STR2 Highback features a multi-layered nylon design that is suitable for a wide range of riding styles in every terrain. The angle of the highback (forward lean) can be adjusted without additional tools.
Baseplate
The Stage 5 Duraflex Base is very robust and perfect for every terrain. The bombproof Stage 5 blows away everything in its class. The stiffness and stability of the 3D Aluminum Heelcup strengthens the whole chassis. The thermoformed EVA bushings offer excellent dampening and sustain their function season after season.
Straps
Strength and instant response on the outside, fit and comfort on the inside - the ExoFrame ankle strap provides the ultimate connection between rider and board. The multi-positional options and thermoplastic anti-slip material of the HexGrip toe strap keep you locked in and on point.
