The wildly successful Cochise series of ski boots from Italian manufacturer Technica sets a new level of quality in the hike and ride ski boot category. The Cochise 90 HV combines comfort and performance for a higher volume or wider foot. Premium features from the range are incorporated into this comfortable boot from Technica, including the 45 mm Power Lock strap buckle and a metal on metal walk mode.
The Cochise 90 uses a high volume version of the award-winning Cochise shell, with an extra 3 mm of forefoot width, a higher instep and a wider cuff. This allows for the same brilliant hike and ride performance of the Cochise, but for a higher volume foot. The 90 flex is accessible for intermediates or heavier beginners. The walk mode has a wide range of motion and when in ski mode a very solid metal on metal connection, very comfortable whether you're hiking for lines or walking around resort after a long day skiing.
Technica use their Ultrafit liner, light heat-mouldable and warm. The liner uses four different densities of foam and which can adapt to different foot shapes, in particular, the ankle area can be personalized with heat.
The boot uses two buckles on the lower shell and an oversized buckle and the Power Lock strap buckle. The oversized upper buckle and the Power Lock mean that there is a good hold on the lower leg without being constrictive.
