The surf coach of superstar Johanne Defay

The Johanne Defay pro model is one of the latest models from Smoothstar. It was developed in close collaboration with pro surfer Johanne Defay and mimics her powerful carving surf turns. This surf trainer has the deepest concave of any model in the range, at 32.5″. The deeper concave allows the rider to control the rail better than other models and helps maintain compression during the turn, just like surfing.

Thruster D technology
The 10" Johanne Defay model is equipped with the new SmoothStar Thruster D technology. The Thruster D is the latest precision development that gives you the ultimate surfing feel, with 12 %-15 % more hold. In addition, boards with this technology are lighter and they come with a 5-year warranty.
