The original camber powerhouse built for going big, stomping deep landings and bringing technical mayhem to the full mountain. Stale has been riding this board for years because of its unparalleled response and power. From double-corks to explosive gravity-defying nollies, the Mod is the weapon of choice for team riders and camber junkies everywhere.
This board is perfect for experienced riders looking for a responsive deck to shred expert level freestyle features. Cliffs in the backcountry, double-corks in the park, no problem with the Mod. This snowboard gives you the confidence and performance you need.
The perfectly symmetrical True Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch.
The traditional Camber profile is an advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering a snappy suspension, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. If you like to haul ass and go big, camber is irreplaceable.
The stiff flex provides you with a very responsive board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
The Airpop Core Matrix features the responsive “pop” of poplar laminates with five integrated zones of low-density, ultra-light wood to reduce weight. Then Rome adds air channels to make it even lighter. The SuperlightBiax laminate is ideal for an even blend freestyle feel and all-mountain power. Rome uses 90-degree and 0-degree fibers for the best of both worlds and the reduced weight keeps the board super light. Carbon additives in the Sintercarbon base reduce friction with the snow, which makes you go even faster. It's the fastest base Rome uses in high-end boards. TurboRods bring a new approach to loading ollies and building pop. Rome starts by milling channels into the board’s core, then they insert carbon rods that rest freely inside sleeves with a single point of attachment. The rod is anchored only towards the centre area of the board, leaving the outside tip of the rod to flex freely inside the sleeve. This means the TurboRods engage the tip and tail of the board to load maximum spring, creating a more active flex pattern and effectively self-dampening after pop occurs. Z-Tech 1.0 is a 1-inch wide strip of Zylon that runs down the centerline of the board for maximum responsiveness and dampening.
Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
