The new Rome Inferno snowboard boot combines functionality, lightness and a medium to stiff flex to master all mountain riding. The result is an impressive, reactive and agile snowboard boot comfortable in any condition. The Double BOA system gives you an easily adjustable, secure boot to rip the whole mountain.
The Inferno uses Rome's TrackedOut sole for grip when you're hiking a handrail to get the perfect shot or neck deep in the backcountry. The 3D Molded Shell Tongue offers a consistent and reliable medium flex for versatility. The Printed Toe Cap helps keep the Inferno secure in the binding and adds durability. Snugging up the fit between boot and hi-back, the 3D Rubber Printed Backstay also shaves weight and enhances material-to-material grip. The result of this printed rubber application is a more direct transfer from boot to binding to board for reduced rider fatigue.
For more comfort and total board control, Rome uses their Pro F.I.T liner which will provide your feet with all-day comfort and relaxed stance. Features such as a heat-moldable material for the perfect fit and the SkateCuff 3D with HeelGrip for a great heel hold are just a few of the many features which offer your feet an exceptional comfort all day long. The Pro FoamBed with AEGIS is not only coated with an antibacterial material to keep the bad smell out, it also provides support for your feet and this all day long! The Expand Toe Zone will self-adjust for different toe lengths and shapes, so you can get any foot in there. The QuadZone Lining offers different linings in four regions for an anatomically enhanced fit.
The Inferno uses a double BOA system for both the upper of the boot and the forefoot. The BOA system gives unrivaled tightness and support for snowboard boots with adjustability on the fly, due to the separation between the upper and lower zones influenced by the BOA, you can adjust them separately. If you have a wider forefoot with a narrower ankle, you can tighten the upper zone more, conversely, if you have the opposite you can find a solution. The double BOA system gives you the versatility to really dial your fit
Please take care to measure your feet accurately. Snowboard boots are made in either US or Mondopoint (cm) sizes.
For your Mondopoint Size, measure your larger foot in centimetres with your heel against a hard surface.
Please consider that your usual European (EU) size, may be different in a snowboard boot.
When your boots arrive, if they feel tight, don't panic! Snowboard Boots have foam liners which will wear in over time.
Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
