The Rapture is that kind of deck everyone needs once in their snowboarding life. Its soft flex and rockered profile help you to learn, whether it would be linking turns or sliding your first boxes or rails. So if you think it’s about time to get your riding to the next level, consider the Rapture.
This board is specifically built for women that are just starting their snowboarding career and want a fun and forgiving board to shred the entire mountain. Even more advanced rider will enjoy this forgiving deck to learn new freestyle moves without catching an edge.
The perfectly symmetrical True Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch.
Twin Rocker - A flat camber profile between the feet means stability, better balance, and continuous edge control. The tip and tail kick up with an early rise outside the feet for the catch-free, loose feeling you’d expect from rocker.
The soft-medium flex allows for easy turning and ensures a comfortable ride through every terrain, whether it is park, powder or anything in between.
At the Foundation™ core, Ride blends the proven strength, pop, and feel of wood with added dampening materials and composites. Mixing natural wood with high-energy 'uppers' and vibration absorbing 'downers' creates a core tuned for maximum snap and feel. The extruded base is very tough, user-friendly and offers good speed without waxing frequently. Scratches can also be repaired relatively easily. Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding. The Impact Plates are added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Biaxial Glass features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex, and forgiving feel.
RIDE was created out of the vision of being a snowboard company "for the people", built on technical innovation, superior quality and "selling the dream,". Staying true to this every step of the way, RIDE have come a long way since launching the company in 1992 with only 4 board models to their name. With some of the highest quality boards, boots and bindings on the market, as a relatively small player, RIDE have managed to establish themselves as an industry leader in the snowboarding world.
