The perfect combination of lightness and zonal insulation: Swiss wool and fleece light!
SWISSWOOL HYBRID is made for ski tourers who are demanding. With the ergonomic shape, you can also wear your Ortovox Piz Roseg for cold, alpine climbing tours.
Weatherproof by wool filling
In the front area of the jacket, there is a special wool filling (SWISSWOOL), which keeps you warm in windy downhills. Highly breathable micro ripstop polyamide fabric protects precious the Swiss wool. Wind and moisture are excluded, while the fleece light material provides freedom of movement in the arms and back areas. For a better regulation of temperature Tasmanian merino wool was added. Merino wool is known for its generous absorption of water vapour and is more effective than synthetic fibre.
The hybrid mix of SWISSWOOL Light Pure and MERINO FLEECE LIGHT makes this jacket perfect for those who care about function and weight.
As with the entire Naked Sheep line, Ortovox focusses on the key features: minimal weight and maximum protection.
Ortovox came to life when Gerald Kampel and Jürgen Wegner developed the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. They have since grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
