Elastic, breathable, lightweight pants for ski tours
Functional and sustainable: thanks to the use of selected materials and an athletic cut, our ISPO Award Winner COL BECCHEI PANTS for men are ideal for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain.
For the main material, we've used tried-and-tested MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT with soft merino wool on the inside and protective polyamide on the outside. Merino fibers are ideal even in demanding passages because they absorb moisture and transport it to the outside - and yet their surface remains dry and comfortable on the skin at all times. The close weave of the outer layer makes these ski touring pants extremely wind and water resistant. All materials are PFC-free - for the sake of your health and the environment.
COL BECCHEI PANTS for men have an athletic cut, are ergonomically shaped and provide outstanding freedom of movement thanks to the use of elastic material. The adjustable waistband and elastic ankle cuffs of these ski touring pants allow for a perfect fit. Small items such as a map can be stowed in the two hip pockets or the thigh pocket. Total sharp-edge protection make these the perfect pants for ski touring.
No matter what alpine goals you have set yourself for the winter, COL BECCHEI PANTS for men are the ideal companion, even when conditions get tough.
c_change(TM) membrane from schoeller®
This active membrane is not just wind and waterproof, but also "intelligent". Like a pine cone that opens when it's warm outside and closes when the temperature falls, the membrane also reacts immediately to sweat build-up with special moisture and temperature management. This means the membrane's molecular structure can adapt to different temperatures. If the body becomes too hot, the polymer structure opens in order to regulate temperature and sweat production. If it's cold, the polymer structure closes. This mechanism results in insulation properties that are directly matched to the wearer's body temperature and the environmental temperature.
MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT
The merino wool is directly woven together with the material from schoeller® to create the ORTOVOX NATURETEC LIGHT fabric. This combination of merino wool and durable polyamide is extremely robust and elastic - making it ideal for high-action sports. The merino wool on the skin ensures good wear comfort and an ideal personal microclimate, while the polyamide provides protection against wind and light precipitation.
ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP)
Merino wool has been an integral component of ORTOVOX's mountainwear since 1995. The focus of this has always been the protection of people, animals and nature: Our merino wool comes from selected farms that comply with our own wool standard: the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE. These farms are regularly monitored within the framework of the OWP to ensure that the highest standards of animal welfare are maintained. The OWP is our commitment to fair wool.

O značce Ortovox
Ortovox came to life with the invention of the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. With their passion for keeping skiers and snowboarders safe, Ortovox has grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
