The ASCENT 22 AVABAG is an extremely lightweight avalanche backpack: including the AVABAG system (the airbag system developed by ORTOVOX) and cartridge, it weighs only 1950 grams. The quick access to your equipment, as well as a diagonal ski fixation, ice axe holder and rope attachment, make the backpack what it is: a technical, ultra-light avalanche backpack for demanding freeriders.

Der Rucksack mit 22 Liter Fassungsvermögen ist relativ klein, sehr leicht und sehr angenehm zu tragen – wie man es von Ortovox Rucksäcken gewohnt ist. Bezüglich Funktionalität hat man bei dem Rucksack wirklich an alles gedacht. Damit der Tragekomfort erhalten bleibt und man möglichst viel mitnehmen kann, wird einem in der beilgelegten Anleitung gezeigt, wie man Skier oder Snowboard, Seil, Helm, LWS-Ausrüstung und Eispickel am besten verstauen oder außen anbringen kann. Was nicht ausbleibt und gewissenhaft zu machen ist, dass man sich mit dem Produkt und der Anleitung beschäftigt, damit im Notfall richtig gehandelt werden kann und vorab die entsprechenden Sicherheitschecks gemacht werden. Der Ortovox Ascent Lawinenrucksack ist ein treuer Wegbegleiter im Backcountry für mich geworden – leicht, bequem und genügend Platz, um noch Proviant und Shirts zum Wechseln mitzunehmen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Seit über 10 Jahren snowboarde ich und verbinge gut 20 Tage in der Saison auf dem Berg. Dabei findet man mich hauptsächlich im Backcountry.
