For these pants Ortovox applied a thin 130 g/m² Merino lining that is laminated with the Toray Dermizax® EV membrane throughout the inside of the garment. The membrane keeps wind and water out, yet it is highly breathable and elastic. At the same time, the membrane is non-porous, making it easy to care for. These characteristics make these garments ideal companions for a day of freeriding.
The pants have a high cut and are reinforced with SWISSWOOL in the lumbar vertebra zone. The reinforced wool of Swiss origin protects the wearer from impacts while also providing warmth and comfort and buffering large volumes of moisture. The elastic fit system is a broad elastic Velcro® system that provides a simple and effective way to adjust the width for the best possible fit. The leg bottoms are equipped with large-area protection against sharp edges and have integrated gaiters. Large ventilation openings are located slightly to the rear at thigh height, so even long ascents can be handled with grace.

Ortovox came to life with the invention of the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. With their passion for keeping skiers and snowboarders safe, Ortovox has grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
