Love You: 4 letters in the word LOVE, 3 letters in the word YOU. The result: No. 43. A board for the whole resort that we fell in love with at first sight. The lightweight Horsepower construction and C2x hybrid rocker profile make it perfect for creative freestyle riding in any terrain.
The No. 43 is Lib Techs all-mountain/freestyle board for progressives rider who stomp their freestyle tricks all over the mountain.
The perfectly symmetrical Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. The Magne-Traction® serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice.
C2x means short rocker between the bindings combined with large cambers under the bindings. This combination offers good edge hold thanks to the camber underfoot, as well as great float in powder and unlimited freestyle action without hang-ups thanks to the rocker.
The medium flex gives the board a balanced feel. It’s hard enough to stay in control on hard charged mountain lines or bigger kickers, but it still has enough flex for advanced powder buttering.
The Horsepower Construction is the first upgrade in Lib Techs constructions. The Core consists of 60% aspen and 40% paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and Tri-Ax Glass as well as Basalt surround the wood core and add the needed stiffness and durability. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewalls, tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! As edges do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection system to avoid damage. Finally, the Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction. The Sintered Base is fast and durable.
For some 30+ years, Lib Tech has been pushing the limits of innovation in the surf and snow sports industry. With their production still based in the US, they set out to do something different. With new shapes and technologies each year, Lib Tech want riders to have a grin on their face when using their products. A company that never stops changing is something we hugely admire, and doing so whilst keeping an eye on the environment will give you a big thumbs up from us any day of the week.
