As the name suggests, the Short Wide is the short, wide board from the Jamie Lynn collection. Jamie has not only immortalised his artwork on this deck, but he also created his idea of a board with which he can rip the tightest tree runs and surf pow.
The Short Wide is a freeride board for intermediate and expert riders – Maximise performance in the world’s most fun conditions and blast through the woods with this agile, stable deck.
A Tapered Directional board is the best for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain, and the stance is set back to help you float above the pow.
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with a mild rocker between the bindings. This offers precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more float than conventional camber profiles.
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
The original power construction OP is a very lightweight, environmentally nice and strong construction design of Lib Tech. The Aspen and Paulownia wood core is robust with a lot of pop. Base and top sheet are made of Eco-sublimated materials. The TNT Base is also very fast and requires little maintenance.
For some 30+ years, Lib Tech has been pushing the limits of innovation in the surf and snow sports industry. With their production still based in the US, they set out to do something different. With new shapes and technologies each year, Lib Tech want riders to have a grin on their face when using their products. A company that never stops changing is something we hugely admire, and doing so whilst keeping an eye on the environment will give you a big thumbs up from us any day of the week.
