Perfect for progression. From day one or one-upping your friends with new tricks in the park. Rips hardpack, jibs, and floats effortlessly in powder.
If you are among those smaller sized guys or girls and want to improve your skills on a fitting board? Take a look at the Banana Blaster. This board provides a lot of opportunities for freestyle progression for beginner to intermediate riders at a high-end quality.
This snowboard comes in a Twin Freestyle/Freeride Shape. Tip and tail are of equal length and width combined with a centered radial sidecut. The snowboard rides equally well in both directions with a focus on all-mountain jib/freestyle and park. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.
Banana Technology BTX means rocker between your feet combined with a flat to mild camber out to the contact points on tip and tail. Easy riding and turning, great jibbing and epic float in pow with full contact and control in all conditions. The combined banana camber geometry adds confidence-building stability from nose to tail, as well as control in those critical moments. Banana Technology enables unreal float in the powder with unlimited freestyle action without cutting an edge.
The soft-medium flex of this board provides you with a playful board that inspires jibbing and freestyle moves on every possible obstacle. While giving you the pop you need to get on top of everything.
The original power construction OP is a very lightweight, environmentally nice and strong construction design of Lib Tech. The core consists of a strong Aspen spine with Columbian Gold on either side, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax fiberglass surrounds the Woodcore and adds the needed stiffness and durability. The Co-Extruded Base is hard, fast and virtually maintenance free. A system that loves a good wax but still slides great even when you forget to. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! Due to the edges, which do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a 'UHMW Tip/Tail impact deflection' system to avoid damage. Finally, the Eco Sub PBT Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.
For some 30+ years, Lib Tech has been pushing the limits of innovation in the surf and snow sports industry. With their production still based in the US, they set out to do something different. With new shapes and technologies each year, Lib Tech want riders to have a grin on their face when using their products. A company that never stops changing is something we hugely admire, and doing so whilst keeping an eye on the environment will give you a big thumbs up from us any day of the week.
