The Gnu 4 is Forest Bailey's "freeride ready freestyler" ready to score any terrain. The aggressive C3 Camber profile in combination with a directional shape ensures a solid performance from the slopes to the deepest powder. Express yourself in every way possible, with the Gnu 4.
The 4 is made for intermediate and advanced riders to push creativity and pleasure in all conditions on all terrain.
A Tapered Directional board is great for all-mountain freeriding. The nose is a bit wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain. The stance is set back towards the tail, increasing the length of the nose. This helps you to float above the pow. The Magne-Traction® serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice.
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with a mild rocker between the bindings. This offers precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more float than conventional camber profiles.
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
The G2 ECO construction is an environmentally friendly and strong and lightweight construction design of Gnu. The Aspen and Paulownia wood core is robust, lightweight and offers a lot of pop. Bi-ax and tri-ax fibreglass provide a snappy board feel. The top sheet is made of Eco-sublimated bio beans. The sintered Base is very fast but requires careful maintenance.
Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
