The Globe Spearpoint 40" complete longboard combines the low center of gravity of drop through mounted trucks with a long wheel base for excellent stability and easy pushing.
The Spearpoint features a cork top and bottom ply that makes the deck more flexible than traditional all-maple. Deep cutaway wheel wells allow you to carve and turn without fear of wheel bite.
Stylish moves in tight curves, this board is about creative riding. With freeride boards, you can slide through the curves, whether forward or switch.
With drop-through truck mounting, the board sits a little lower than a top mount deck would. The low centre of gravity increases stability and smoothness. The directional shape has been optimised for higher speeds to give a safe, calm ride.
The deck comes in a lightweight, very robust cork and maple construction.
When it comes to the setup, you can also rely on good quality. The wide slant trucks in reverse kingpin design are agile and very stable. The soft wheels provide a very good grip and roll particularly smooth over any surface. The bushings offer stability at high speeds and they’re chosen to appropriately fit styles from fast downhill lines to cruising, carving, and street skating. The Globe Abec-7 bearings spin faster and longer which means less effort and this enables getting up to full speed faster.
Note: Wheel and truck colours may vary due to stock shortage.
