The Stout is a brand new wide directional board for everyone who is looking for a wide and easy riding board for all conditions. The turn initiation on the Stout is very smooth and therefore great if you like a comfortable descent. The wide shape enhances the float in powder and the I-Rock profile provides stability and camber-like pop for peak to park performance.
Easy turn initiation on groomers and float in powder. The Stout is a playful wide board for intermediate riders.
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. The 3 stage Progressive DT sidecut features flat sections in the binding area and a different radius between the feet. Combined with a mellow tip and tail, this sidecut delivers a surfy ride with unparalleled grip.
I-Rock profile means rocker between your feet combined with a flat to mild camber out to the contact points on tip and tail. Easy riding and turning, great jibbing and epic float in pow with full contact and control in all conditions.
A medium flex will ensure a precise response and a lively feel.
The Re-Flex core is Flow's lightest most responsive wood core, with the highest strength-to-weight ratio. This specifically profiled core fuses several species of poplar woods resulting in a more stable super-light snappy feel. Biax glass features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel. The 7 carbon stringers centrally stitched directly into the glass makes for a soft to mid flexing board with quick response. The sintered base is an industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention. The Kush-Control Plus technology features urethane compounds that are utilised in the sidewall, base, and top sheet, which adds to the flexibility and stability of the board and gives it an all-time smooth ride.
This board comes in 'a Wide' version. These boards are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.
Flow revolutionized the snowboard industry in 1996, when they introduced a binding with a reclining highback for so-called speed entry. Not yet satisfied, they went on to create barefoot feel boots and boards to complete the whole package. Changing the world, one happy snowboarder at a time.
