The twin brother of the Era, with a classic camber shape, is an ultimate freestyle board. The Chill gives you the usual edge hold of a camber while still being playful and agile, so you will also have fun in the park. It features Flow's Kush-Control Plus technology to create the smoothest and strongest board on the hill.
Riding Style
The Chill comes along as an all-around talent. No matter if you’re looking for fun park sessions or general all-mountain action. It is easy to ride in any situation, while also providing plenty of edge grip.
Shape
The perfectly symmetrical True Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. The 3-D Transitional sidecut is the perfect blend for a smooth ride with tons of grip. Mellow tips and an aggressive radius in the binding area gives unlimited grip for an overall super smooth, agile ride.
Profile
This board comes with a three-phase Pop-Cam construction. It features a traditional camber under the feet and a flat area between the bindings for added grip on ice, better float in the pow, and locking onto rails, leaving the tip and tail mellow and playful.
Flex
The medium flex makes this board suited for everything. Rip pow, press your way through jobs, spin your body in weird ways and carve up everything from slush to ice.
Construction
The Re-Flex core is Flow's lightest most responsive wood core, with the highest strength-to-weight ratio. This specifically profiled core fuses several species of poplar woods resulting in a more stable super-light snappy feel. Biax glass features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel. The 7 carbon stringers centrally stitched directly into the glass makes for a soft to mid flexing board with quick response. The sintered base is an industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention. The Kush-Control Plus technology features urethane compounds that are utilised in the sidewall, base, and top sheet, which adds to the flexibility and stability of the board and gives it an all-time smooth ride.
Flow revolutionized the snowboard industry in 1996, when they introduced a binding with a reclining highback for so-called speed entry. Not yet satisfied, they went on to create barefoot feel boots and boards to complete the whole package. Changing the world, one happy snowboarder at a time.
