It can take you from buttering lips to dropping cliffs and landing switch. Plus it also is light enough to tour on. Don't just take our word for it, this is a multi-award winning ski.
At home across the whole hill. Piste and park riding are one thing, but this ski really shines when it comes to freeriding. Its lightweight construction and flex profile make this ski ideal for touring.
The Candide 3.0 is a directional twin tip with a width of 108 mm underfoot. This width is ideal for ripping powder, trees and touring, but is still narrow enough to be nimble on piste and in chopped up snow. The tip is only 4 mm wider than the tail making skiing switch super easy.
The Candide 3.0 has a light camber underfoot, with rocker in the tip and tail. The Camber gives grip on harder and steeper snow, as well as the ability to get an edge when touring. The rocker in the tips and tail gives float and surface area in deeper snow.
A stiffer flex and lightweight construction make these an ideal freeride ski, perfect for hiking and skinning.
Balsa is a light hardwood which is glued in alternating strips with woven flax through the core. This makes the core stable, dampens vibrations and most importantly is lightweight. There is a titanal plate beneath the bindings to add stiffness and secure alpine and touring bindings.
Sandwich construction further adds to the stability, durability and edge hold of the Candide 3.0. A layer of rubber between the core and the base softens vibrations.
