For his missions to the steepest summits, Xavier de le Rue needs a boot to support him on his way to the top. That's why the new Spark XV is not only lighter and more robust but also better protected against impacts and rocky terrain. This fifth generation Spark boot features a lightweight design that showcases Custom Flex construction, a preshaped XLS collar for skinning, and a rubber rand for durability. Make your escape with the Spark XV.
The Dupont® Surlyn highback contributes to the durability and stability of the boot. Combined with additional reinforcements, the highback also aids in dictating its stiffness. The waterproof and breathable membrane ensures your feet stay warm and dry. By better securing the boot to your shin, the Powerstrap adds additional support to its lacing system. The waterproof and breathable D-Tex Membrane ensures your feet stay warm and dry. The Custom Flex Construction enables you to adjust the support and responsiveness of your boots. And to further secure a rider’s foot, this design also features ankle lacing. Available as an accessory, the TPS Shield strengthens a boot’s tongue, providing a stiffer flex and additional support. A rubber rand maximises durability and traction when navigating rocky terrain. The Extra Long Stride (XLS) System offers enhanced comfort and longer strides while skinning. Loosening a power strap connected to an exoskeleton at the rear of the boot extends the boot’s range of motion an additional 8°, resulting in strides that are 20 to 30cm longer. The XLS System is the perfect sidekick for splitboarders who demand more.
The Vibram® East Ridge Outsole features maximum surface area for enhanced durability and traction yet its reduced length minimises toe and heel drag. An engraved shank offers additional grip on challenging terrain while a backwelt integrated into the boot’s shell enables the use of crampons. The Remedy midsole delivers exceptional dampening and board feel, creating the precise yet comfortable ride of a traditional boot.
The Performance Flex liner is designed to offer premium performance and optimal support. The highback provides stability while special L-shaped pads anchor the heel. No more blisters or shin bite.
The C3 lacing system allows you to adjust boot fit, flex, and comfort. The three-part division allows the heel, forefoot, and shaft zones to be isolated and tightened separately. When the heel zone is laced, it holds the heel and stabilises the ankle. The FLD base features a removable design that screws easily into the boot’s shell. In addition to locking laces in place, this base offers enhanced protection from snow and ice, as well as impacts.
Please take care to measure your feet accurately. Snowboard boots are made in either US or Mondopoint (cm) sizes.
For your Mondopoint Size, measure your larger foot in centimetres with your heel against a hard surface.
Please consider that your usual European (EU) size, may be different in a snowboard boot.
When your boots arrive, if they feel tight, don't panic! Snowboard Boots have foam liners which will wear in over time.
