Simple, comfortable, and built to last, the Search is a medium flexing boot with upgrades that are all about keeping you out there ‘til the chairlift stops spinning. The fast and easy to use BOA® closure system and the cozy yet lightweight construction will keep you going all season on every mountain.
The Foundation outsole is DC’s lightest-weight outsole. It is made entirely from Unilite material which provides essential durability, dampening, and cushioning with a drastically reduced weight. It features a traction pattern which is designed for a secure feel during both ascent and descent.
The Red liner offers pure performance in a lower cost package. It features a multilayer construction with EVA memory foam combined with thermal regulating fleece to provide unquestionable fit and comfort, plus the proven support and hold of a classic lace closure. The snow basic insole features die-cut EVA for comfort and durability while an outer layer of moisture-wicking fabric will feel like a climate control system around your feet.
The BOA® H3 Coiler platform is unbeatable, it is fast, super strong and offers micro-adjustability for dialling in the perfect balance between flex and support. This system allows you to tighten the upper and lower zone with a coiler spool. This results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with a greater hold in the heel pocket for an overall more comfortable feel.
Please take care to measure your feet accurately. Snowboard boots are made in either US or Mondopoint (cm) sizes.
For your Mondopoint Size, measure your larger foot in centimetres with your heel against a hard surface.
Please consider that your usual European (EU) size, may be different in a snowboard boot.
When your boots arrive, if they feel tight, don't panic! Snowboard Boots have foam liners which will wear in over time.
DC is another state of the art skate brand to come out of California. Their main focus lies on developing and producing high-quality skate shoes for all ages. In the last few years, they have ventured into snowboarding hardgoods and outerwear for men and women, something we for one are not the slightest bit mad about.
