Burton ak Gore-Tex Swash Bunda

I was looking for a new jacket to replace my old 686 Eclipse Shell Jacket, so something not too warm that I can wear layers underneath, and especially with high functionality for long days on the mountain in all conditions. I got it in size L, which fits my 179/81kg pretty comfortably with plenty of layering space. Since I have quite long arms, I was especially worried about the arm lengths, but it works perfectly for me. It fits rather big, so if you're between sizes, I'd recommend the smaller size.

The Gore-Tex technology is still one of the best you can get on your outerwear. It's completely waterproof and very breathable, so you will stay dry and warm no matter what. The jacket also has a lot of features that make a lot of sense. Classics like the ski ticket pocket on the left arm, venting zips and a huge hood that fits easily over a helmet are mandatory for me. But also stuff like a padded phone pocket, removable powder skirt, flexible wrist gaiters are great to make your day on the mountain better. The colors really pop as well, so you'll look great even on phone pictures and it's easier to be found in the woods.

Everyone who's looking for a quality jacket with high waterproofing and breathability, that is not too warm and easy to layer, should go for the Burton AK Gore-Tex Swash. It fits pretty large, but not extremely. The arms have good lengths, I sometimes have to go for XL just because of my arm lengths, with the Swash I can stick to L. Overall 100% happy!
