The Kilroy crew represents the new generation of snowboarding. It is a team of seven young, fresh rippers from all over the world with some super sick and unique style. For this season, they've put together their energy, creativity and talent to collaborate in the design of two new Burton snowboards - the Kilroy Custom and the Kilroy Process.
The Burton Kilroy Process is a traditional twin camber board made to shred every kind of terrain, on the mountain or in the streets. Camber profile for powerful turns, twin shape and flex for the best versatility and The Channel™ for the ultimate control of your stance and your board - the Kilroy Process delivers freestyle playfulness and all-terrain prowess. The Squeezebox Low core profiling allows for a more direct energy transfer to tip and tail enabling a softer flex between the bindings, for more control with less effort.
The Kilroy Process is the perfect twin freestyle tool, made for those who love to shred everything, slopes, park and streets.
The Twin Shape of the Kilroy Process is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride, that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability, no matter which way you point it. Pro-Tip™ is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, Camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering a snappy suspension, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail.
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail, for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Lightened up and loaded with pop, the FSC™ CERTIFIED SUPER FLY II™ 800G CORE is a dual-species wood core that utilises dual-density vertical laminations of alternating soft and hard wood. This reduces the overall weight, without sacrificing strength or performance. Additionally, in the DUALZONE™ EGD™ design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. With an overall easier feel, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling technology to the progressing rider. Stiffer zones just outside your feet create a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. The end result is more control with less effort from the rider. The Sintered Base is durable and highly porous, delivering added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.
The BIAX™ FIBERGLASS features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel. The Burton-exclusive INFINITE RIDE™ technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season. This board also features Super Sap® Epoxy, which is a resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduce the carbon footprint by 50 % over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies.
Stronger, faster, easier and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton's). Better yet, all boards with The Channel™ are covered with a 3-year warranty.
Burton is one of the longest standing pillars of snowboarding. Much like Blue Tomato, they have been innovating and changing the way people enjoy the outdoors for over 40 years. Offering high-end equipment geared towards giving you the best possible experience on and off the mountain.
