For the groms who put the rest of us to shame, the Burton Ambush Smalls packs all the support and performance of a pro-level boot into a kid-friendly package. Engineered from the ground up with the best in Burton boot technology, it introduces kids to advantages like the Wishbone upper cuff for added edge-to-edge rebound, without sacrificing lateral tweak. First out of the lodge with Speed Zone™ lacing, lightened up with DynoLITE cushioning, and featuring a look that’s far from elementary, this is the ultimate upgrade for kids with pro aspirations.
Outer boot
The Wishbone Cuff defies convention, combining power and freedom into one. Picking up where the Crossbone Cuff left off, it features Jumper Cables on both the medial and lateral sides for twice the snap, rebound, and life without sacrificing the high tweakability of a softer boot. The Dynolite outsole also provides cushioning that will protect the feet and joints when jumping around or cruising over tracked slopes. All Burton boot tongues feature an internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot, keeping feet warm and dry.
Liner
The youth Imprint liner has integrated liner lacing and inner lace hooks to keep the feet in place no matter what. Heat moldable with fit panels to ensure a perfect fit and completed with a level 1 molded EVA footbed for additional support and vibration absorption.
Lacing system
The Speed Zone™ Lacing now features streamlined, re-profiled lace guides and jam cleats for increased performance and greater durability. The system retains lightning fast lacing control by allowing you to customize the fit of the upper and lower zone in seconds. More power means more rebound, wrap and response with less lacing effort. New England Rope laces add a virtually indestructible character worthy of Lifetime Warranty.
