Enhanced traction and cushioning meets super lightweight comfort and freestyle-activated mid-range support.
The Burton AMB boot defies convention by combining versatile mid-range response and full-featured tech in a boot that’s lighter and lasts longer than the competition. Ridden by Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss, it excels in the park but is an ideal upgrade for anyone who prefers the stealth support and powerful lacing control of Speed Zone™. Lightweight tech includes the Wishbone upper cuff for added rebound without sacrificing the high tweak-ability of a softer boot. Sleeping Bag heat-reflective foil defies cold weather, while the super-grippy DynoBITE EST® outsole reinforced with ReBounce cushioning keeps the soles soft and cushy in arctic temps.
Get an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box. Total Comfort’s industry-exclusive construction eliminates the break-in period for a fit that feels just as good from day 1 to 100. The Shrinkage™ Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint in one full size, meaning a men’s size 10 fits like a size 10, but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, sleeker -never suffer from toe drag again.
All Burton boot tongues feature a snow-proof internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot, keeping feet warm and dry.
1:1 Medium Flex PowerUP Tongue: Every Burton liner is factory molded with the last inside the shell to ensure a superior, out-of-box fit and precise, liner-to-shell integration. 1:1 lasting means that every half and full-size liner gets a matching half and full-size shell and outsole for the best possible fit with the smallest possible footprint.
GripLITE Backstay: Snugging up the fit between boot and hi-back, the rubber print backstays also shave weight and enhance material-to-material grip. The result of this printed rubber application is more direct transfer from boot to binding to board for reduced rider fatigue.
The Wishbone Cuff defies convention, combining power and freedom into one. Picking up where the Crossbone Cuff left off, it features Jumper Cables on both the medial and lateral sides for twice the snap, rebound, and life without sacrificing the high tweak-ability of a softer boot.
Strategically placed oversized flex notches allow for smoother, more fluid lateral and medial flex, perfect for pressing and tweaking.
Imprint™ 3 Liner
The heat-moldable Imprint™ 3 Liner comes with a Level 2 Molded EVA Footbed with ESS Support Shank and Aegis™ Antimicrobial Coating. Boosting heel-hold by hugging that sweet spot around your ankle, the Focus Cuff rides slightly higher on your ankle for increased response. The Velcro® J-Bar interface with an inner Lace Lock and Velcro® Liner Closure offers the best foothold and support. Lightweight Power Panels ensure a consistent flex from day 1 to 100 and the Sock Lock allows your feet to easily slide into place.
DynoBITE EST® Outsole
In addition to ReBounce which wraps the cushioning in heat-reflective foil to keep it cushy and effective in cold weather, the DynoBITE outsole features an extra layer of traction at the forefoot and heel for greater grip. Like every Burton Dyno outsole, DynoBITE provides lightweight, durable cushioning that’s formulated specifically for snowboarding. 10-15% recycled rubber content depending on model treads lighter on the planet, too.
EST® goes beyond bindings by optimizing the soles on select boots for a more direct connection. Lower-profile, lighter weight, and with a reduced ramp angle, EST lowers your center of gravity and improves boardfeel. The Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil is a low-profile and lightweight underfoot technology, that reflects heat back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions.
The Speed Zone™ Lacing now features streamlined, re-profiled lace guides and jam cleats for increased performance and greater durability. The system retains lightning fast lacing control by allowing you to customize the fit of the upper and lower zone in seconds. More power means more rebound, wrap and response with less lacing effort. New England Rope laces add a virtually indestructible character worthy of Lifetime Warranty.
What size snowboard boots do I need?
Please take care to measure your feet accurately. Snowboard boots are made in either US or Mondopoint (cm) sizes.
For your Mondopoint Size, measure your larger foot in centimetres with your heel against a hard surface.
Please consider that your usual European (EU) size, may be different in a snowboard boot.
When your boots arrive, if they feel tight, don't panic! Snowboard Boots have foam liners which will wear in over time.
