I chose this product for the protection it offers as well as the sleek looks. I ride mostly backcountry, where I always have my backpack on me to protect my back. But when I'm carving the piste or riding in the park, I wanted something that does not restrict my movement.

I have been able to test the back protector on the mountain for a few days now. The Body Glove Pro really fits like a glove. It feels light and does not restrict movement at all, to my surprise. It offers excellent back protection (tail bone included) as well as padded sides for those nasty hits to the ribs. I bought the protector in size L and I am 70kg and 183 cm tall. The back protector has already made my riding without a backpack much more confident, especially at the park. The back protector has a very high breathability, but I have not tested it yet on a sunny and warm day. During colder conditions, the protector serves as an additional layer and is pleasantly warm.

I can recommend it to everyone who want to feel confident and secure while riding, landing and falling. However, it does not sacrifice comfort nor freedom of movement.
