The Nocta is the widest ski in the Black Crows collection and is the only model with a full reverse camber profile. The result is Black Crow's by far the most playful freeride ski, which is also incredibly light for its size. When it stops snowing outside and you want to surf through the snow, the Nocta is the best choice for maximum fun.
Riding style
A freeride/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum lift and manoeuvrability for deepest snow.
Shape
With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder.
Profile
This ski comes with a reverse camber profile. Due to the continuous rocker without camber or flat camber area, the ski is extremely playful and gets enormous uplift. The ski also turns very easily as all contact points are lifted off the ground, but it loses some stability at higher speeds.
Construction
The weight is probably the most impressive part of the Nocta construction. With a length of 185 cm you will be offered an incredible weight of only 4 kg. This makes it one of the lightest skis in its class. The lightness of the ski is made possible especially by a paulownia and poplar wood core. The semi-cap construction further reduces weight while providing great stability underfoot.

In 2005 two proffesional skiers Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet were looking for the perfect powder ski. They couldn't find exactly what they were looking for - so they designed thier own. The rest is history.
