Terrain parks are a distorted reality.. for some people at least. With the Bataleon Distortia the ladies can twist and tweak this reality to the fullest. This board is strong and flexible and makes both rails and kickers a fun thing.
One board for everything real park chicks love! The Distortia is flexible enough for smooth jibs but still strong enough for stomping the big ones.
In the park there's only one true shape and that's the true twin. The Distortia of course comes with a Twin 3BT shape with a symmetrical tip and tail. Balance and stability no matter which direction you take off or land.
The Twin 3BT consists of a relatively wide centerbase and just a mellow sidebase uplift. This helps you keep control on presses and at high speed. The mellow camber is perfectly dosed for flexible rail riding and poppy enough for hitting kickers.
The smooth flex is also straight park riding. Easy jibbing and jumping with a soft but steady board.
A poplar wood core is streaked with beech wood along the inserts and sandwiched with bi-axial fiberglass. This means great press and pop properties plus a quick manoeuverability. The X-shaped basalt stringers beneath the bindings provide a precise power transmission from edge to edge. The PLT topsheet is applied after the board is pressed, making it super slick and flexy. The extruded Super Slick X base is very durable, fast and requires almost just minimal care.
When you think of snowboarding, usually snow and mountains spring to mind. Yet Bataleon snowboards, some of the best boards around, stem from Amsterdam. With their patented 3 base technology, Bataleon have won over happy-go-lucky snowboarders from all corners of the earth. Better, smoother, faster and lighter rides are what await you with any Bataleon weapon of choice.
