As an all-mountain skier I am used to ride with a freeride kind of helmet which is not so suitable for goggles with spherical lenses. That is why I prefer goggles with flat lenses - or at least I think they look better on such kind of helmets. For me when buying a goggle, fit is really important. The medium-large size of the Ashbury Sonic goggles is the perfect compromise between wide field of view and perfect fit on your face while using a helmet.

I had the chance to test the goggle in different weather conditions. They performed quite good in sunny weather, while the extra lens provided good views in foggy and snowy conditions. The small downside is the visibility in partly cloudy conditions, where a third lens would be just perfect. The goggles provide 100% UV protection, they are quite scratch resistant and offer good ventilation which prevents fogging. The lenses can be switched quite easily.

I would suggest the goggles to anyone who is looking for good goggles that do not cost a fortune, because in this price range you usually don't get a replacement lens and such high quality.
