The 145 cm Terrapin is for bottomless days when the spray makes it hard to breathe and harder to see. The days when snowboarding feels more like surfing. Don’t be mislead by its stature, the 70’s surf inspired Terrapin is the board you need when you’re bored of having only one board.
For the rider who dreams of powder waves on his shortboard and loves to get barreled in frozen water.
Uprise Fenders in the nose and tail outline the single fin surfboard shape. In the nose, the Fenders wrap from the wide point of the board to the tip. Uprise in the tail extends from the rear inserts towards the center of the trailing edge. Two Grip Tech contact points placed under the back foot only add edge control and stability while allowing the front foot to remain loose and surfy.
The Terrapin features a surf inspired parabolic rocker profile. A low entry, high-volume nose creates a superior and unmatched float. The 5cm tapered tail finishes with a steeper, tighter rocker allowing you to sink the back end and rail into quick turns ensuring highly responsive and intuitive board control.
The Highland Core is Arbors highest-end core, made from a blend of estate grown Poplar and Paulownia to provide the light-weight performance ideal for backcountry and pow. The topsheet is made from sustainably sourced ash wood and is called Ash Power Ply construction. The natural grain creates the style Arbor has been known for since they launched twenty years ago. This technology does not only look good but also improves the strength, durability, and return of a snowboard. The Mixed Glassing provides a Triax over Biax fibreglass lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, & more. The 360 Rail is a fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability. The sintered base is an industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
The Arbor Collective has been making snowboards for the last three decades. Having lasted so long and having legends such as Bryan Iguchi endorse their boards speaks for the quality. Arbor is built to last.
