The Swoon is the women's specific performance board for women who like to surf pow, but at the same time are looking for a board that is versatile and is fun on groomers or even in the park, too. The Swoon is now built on a significantly lighter lay-up with a more playful flex, which makes the board turn and pop with more fluidity
The Swoon is the freeride / all mountain board for advanced riders who want more. Technical lines, treeruns, groomers and more - the Swoon is incredibly versatile.
The Mountain Twin shape offers the switch riding advantages of a twin snowboard with just that little extra float in the powder due to the slightly longer nose. Arbors Grip Tech offers very good edge control, especially on icy slopes. The edges extend slightly beneath your bindings for an extremely good edge-hold on hard-pack. Full of power when you need it and playful when you don't.
The camber profile consists of only one positive preload from nose to tail. This classic profile offers high stability, good edge control and a lot of pop. The Uprise Fenders system pull the outside contact zones off the snow. This means that the edges at the contact points on Nose and Tail are angled upwards by 3°. This results in a playful feeling without catching an edge
The medium-stiff flex is perfect for high speed and freeriding and offers precise response and a lively feel.
The Highland II Core is a lighter, more responsive version of our FSC Certified Highland Core known for highly reliable return and long-lasting durability. A newly developed screening process has allowed Arbor to hand select the very lightest and highest quality paulownia from their sourcing partners. Arbos’s Mixed Glassing is a triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more. A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability. The topsheet is made from sustainably sourced ash wood and is called Ash Powerply construction. The natural grain creates the style Arbor has been known for since they launched twenty years ago. This technology does not only look good but also improves the strength, durability, and return of a snowboard. The new, sintered CrossLink Base is a mid-density material that demonstrates increased speed and durability while maintaining the ease of repair.
