This new Powdergun brought to you by Arbor and designed with team rider Mark Carter is truly what you need on the big, big mountain. Arbor´s Parabolic Camber system makes it stable at high speeds and fast changing terrain while still giving you the much-needed pop and float for sick powder lines. Inspired by Native American arrowheads the Clovis is ideal for hunting the perfect line in the mountains.
Freeride: this board will give you everything you wish for in the backcountry. The parabolic camber profile will give you the necessary pop in the powder while offering also stability and spinning characteristics you need off the slopes.
The Camber shape is an advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering a snappy suspension, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The 'Arrowhead' tip shape offers exceptional float for powder specific pursuits. Arbors Grip Tech offers very good edge control, especially on icy slopes. They extend slightly beneath your bindings for an extreme good edge-hold on hard-pack. Full of power when you need it and playful when you don't. The Uprise Fenders system pull the outside contact zones off the snow. This means that the edges at the contact points on Nose and Tail are angled upwards by 3°. This results in a playful feeling without catching an edge.
Non-symmetrical mountain twin, for the switch riding advantages of a twin snowboard with a lot of extra float in the powder.
The medium flex of the Clovis is perfect for high speed and technical riding while remaining flexible enough for advanced freestyle moves in the backcountry.
At the Double Barrel I core, two bamboo struts run tip-to-tail down the center of this upgraded Poplar core. Bamboo adds power and strength for bigger mountain performance. The topsheet is made from sustainably sourced walnut wood and is called American Black Walnut Power Ply construction. The natural grain creates the style Arbor has been known for since they launched twenty years ago. This technology does not only look good but also improves the strength, durability, and return of a snowboard. The Mixed Glassing provides a Triax over Biax fiberglass lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, & more. The 360 Rail is a fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability. The sintered base is an industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
