Salt & Silver – Tacos, Tequila, Tattoos

Our friends from Salt &Silver are back from their 2nd road trip and this time they conquered the roads of Mexico looking for the culinary highlights and the most epic surf spots of their favorite country!
Since the tasty tacos and ceviches from Salt & Silver got enormously famous and Mexico left some lasting impression during their first Latin America trip (on their skin and in their heads), from the moment they left this beautiful country they knew they had to go back. That’s why in January 2016 they packed their bags again and went on a 3 months adventure.

As expected Jo and Cozy came back packed with endless new recipes, surf footage that makes you want to jump the plane right away and stories that are worth a Hollywood Blockbuster! After this, everyone knows that Mexico is more than just the mafia and chili con carne.

But what to do with all that great footage, memories and impressions? After their last cookbook “Travel, Surf, Cook” we know that there is no limit to creativity when it comes to Salt & Silver – so they did it again. In their new cook book “Tacos, Tequila, Tattoos” they're taking us with them on a journey through Mexico and its numerous surf spots, delicious recipes and adventures.

  • 288 fascinating pages
  • Over 80 tasty recipes
  • Crazy stories about coyotes, whale sharks & rocker bars
  • The best tattoo artists in Mexico

Thomas „Cozy“ Kosikowski
„We thought we learned a lot about the Mexican food during our trip in 2014, but we were so wrong! For this book we went further into the Mexican culture and kitchen than we did before.“

Johannes „Jo“ Riffelmacher
„We have been to Tequila and drank Tequila – but what really knocked us out was Mezcal, the big brother of Tequila. You get to know more about the drink in our book."

Once more, they will blow your mind with the perfect symbiosis of cook book, surf guide and travel report!

We tip our sombrero to Jo and Cozy for this masterpiece and there is nothing left to say than ¡Ay caramba – Mexico, olé!
