Comfort Zone produced by Almo Film

Comfort Zone – are you ready to escape?

This year the Almo Film Crew again spoils us with their new movie “Comfort Zone” – an awesome snowboarding firework! Among others, the film also features our Blue Tomato Team Riders Mathieu Crepel and Victor de le Rue – two of the best snowboarders worldwide, who turn “Comfort Zone” with their fearless attitude into a high class snowboarding trip. They experiment a lot and chase the perfect conditions all around the world – trying to do everything to escape their Comfort Zone.

Episode 1 - The introduction

“So here we are again! Ladies and Gentlemen – Snowboarding” – Comfort Zone’s intro shows what we can expect from the upcoming parts. Thanks to finest snowboarding skills and stunning sceneries it makes you want to go out and get started right away.

Episode 2 - One more block

To escape the winter in France that doesn’t start with much snow and still perform a good start into the season, the Almo Film Crew travels to Austria, more precisely: to Arlberg. Blue Tomato Team Rider Victor de le Rue, Valerian Ducourtil and Victor Daviet shape their kickers and so conquer the backcountry of the Arlberg.

Episode 3 - Japan RV Trip

Next stop of the Comfort Zone Crew is Japan, where they start an RV trip which isn’t always too comfortable or warm but definitely a lot of fun. In snowboarder’s paradise Hokkaido they do amazing runs on lonely powder slopes, jump from trees being half-naked, even dive into the cold waves and simply enjoy their road trip.

Episode 4 - Ginger Brothers

Pro Snowboarder Jørn Simen Aabøe invites the Almo Film Crew to Norway where he and his best bud Markus Olimstad jibb through the streets of Oslo. No doubt that the guys from the North know what they do and on top the “Ginger Brothers” bring a lot of fun into each session!

Episode 5 - Split Mission Lofoten

This episode the Almo Film Crew lands in the far North of Norway in the Lofoten. Blue Tomato Team Rider Mathieu Crepel, Thomas Delfino and Sylvain Bourbousson arrived on a beautiful day but then got unpleasantly surprised by five days of rain and wind. But the guys know how to keep themselves entertained and pass the time with fishing and surfing in the ice cold ocean. Of course they are pretty happy when the weather finally changes and the lines that were covered in rain and fog the past days are now finally rideable. In the early morning they start their splitboard action in the snow-spoiled Lofoten where the finest powder slopes are already awaiting them.

Episode 6 - Let the kids destroy the park

Following the motto „let the kids destroy the park cause you are too old to spin like there is no tomorrow on hard landings“ the Almo Film Crew visited the best parks in Switzerland, Norway and Italy. The Comfort Zone-Kids featuring Pat Burgener, Victor Daviet, Valerian Doucourtil, Jørrn Simen Aabøe and many more showed off on kickers, rails and in the flat. Superbly shaped parks in Crans Montana, Trysil and Levi as well as the massive snow fortress of the mega event Suzuki Nine Knights in Livigno, Italy, definitely make you want to grab your board and get out to destroy the nearest park.

Episode 7 - Backcountry Realness

The last part makes the guys escape their Comfort Zone one more time. The crew including Blue Tomato Team Riders Victor de le Rue and Mathieu Crepel fights against the bad weather in Central Europe. It takes more than one week until they can finish shaping and managed to bag shots. Infinite motivation and a lot of hard work make the stunning last part of the film happen, where the boys exploit their powder-filled backcountry playground.
