GoSkateboarding Day with Marco Kada & Philipp Schuster
The fact that Blue Tomato Teamriders Marco Kada and Philipp Schuster don’t need a reason to go skateboarding is well known. On this year’s Go Skateboarding Day on the 21st of June 2016 though, they stepped it up and turned the whole city of Salzburg into their playground!

On this sunny Tuesday, Philipp was casually pushing through Salzburg before our friend and last year’s third-placed at The Captain’s Quest, Jan Hoffmann, joined him. Straight through the doors of our Blue Tomato Shop Salzburg, the two were joined by Marco Kada. In proper style with a kickflip of course.

After skating a lot of spots all over the city, they went to the Kapitelplatz where we had set up a skateboarder’s paradise with the help of Red Bull – from beginner to professional! The set up combined our beloved miniramp with Philipp’s ICON-obstacles from his "No Skateboarding" Video!

No wonder it didn’t take long before the three were joined by local skateboarders to put down one heavy trick after another on the iconic red obstacles.

Go Skateboarding Day is for everyone though, that’s why we had everything there to let the kids try out skateboarding for the first time or get some advice from our employees and the pros. Soon, the first ollies were on lock and the miniramp saw quite a few kids try transitions for the first time!

All in all the Go Skateboarding Day was a blast! Thanks to Red Bull, Philipp, Marco and Jan and most importantly all the motivated kids and locals that came by!
