The Capita Mega Death is hard to beat in terms of innovative "mega technology". Megacarbon™ Array, wide strips of carbon, provide incredible feedback and snap while keeping the board light. Speaking of light: With the FSC®-certified 3D thermopolymer Starship Core™ with ultra-light post-consumer recycled plastic through to the super-light Skin™ topsheet, the construction ensures a perfect balance of performance and weight.  The Alpine V1 profile makes it the ultimate all-mountain weapon for experts. It offers the best edge hold while carrying you light as a feather over powder. 

The Mega Death is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100% clean energy.

Riding style
This board is just right for all-mountain junkies with expert skills. The Mega Death offers an extremely reactive ride, is incredibly light and can cope with any terrain. 

Shape
With the directional shape used, the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. Nevertheless, it remains stable at higher speeds and offers you plenty of float in powder.

Profile
The Alpine V1 profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in the nose. The rocker carries you effortlessly over powder. The camber extends far into the tail and offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission on hard slopes.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The FSC® certified Starship Core™ 3D thermopolymer is produced using an advanced electronic sorting system. Through this system, premium poplars can be sorted with reforestation poplar, according to weight and grain. This procedure ensures constant flex. The addition of bonded, recycled thermopolymer channels turns the Starship Core™ into an advanced hybrid core that gives you incredible pop. Pure Megakarbon™ is a wide carbon band on the top and bottom of the wood core. It offers 4 times the power and response of Capita's previous carbon additives. The sintered Megadrive™ base is ultra-fast, hard and absorbs a lot of wax for more durability and speed.

Snowboard er ofte levert klart til bruk med en vokset base og skarpe kanter. Likevel, "factory tuning" er ikke så veldig holdbar og ditt nye snowboard bør bli ordentlig vokset etter et par dager og vedlikeholdt.
