| Blue Tomato Teamrider Lisa Veith, equipped
with a 5.11 and a 6.4 board, on the way to the surfcamp in Bali.
The flight
over Doha felt like an odyssey before she finally landed on the island.
And the
time in Bali was super, because there was still summer in Bali –
perfect
conditions for surfing. After a talk with the photographer Lars Jacobson of Surfer Magazine and filmer Simon Huber, a perfect and nice stay at the surfcamp started. |

Lisa Veith’s first day started midday-surf in Canggu and for at the evening photo shoot, posing in a rice field. The next day, Lisa head off to surf with some Australian guys and a own personal water photographer at one of the a secret spots of Bali! Afterwards Lisa had an evening session in Brawa. This exhausting day was rewarded with an ice-cold Bintang (Balinese beer) at the Canggu-In-Pub “Deus ex Macchina“ for Lisa. |

Since the swell isn’t particularly big, Lisa Veith & Co. need to be a bit creative with the spot choices fort he next few days. So they found a spot right in the middle of a Hindu temple – very bizarre, especially under a deep black sky with a storm brewing up! So it was a short surfing day for Lisa. The Golden Ride Magazine organized a special girl’s camp. So Lisa Veith and the O’Neill Teamrider Eva Kreyer organized a dry practice round and a girls surf sesh for the participants. The girls were super motivated and they even let one or two men join in! To mix things up a bit, of course with completely unselfish intentions, Lisa also organized a trip to Julien’s famous private skate bowl. It’s in his garden under palm trees, incredibly stylish! |

The last few days Lisa lead to some nice Uluwatu waves – small, but nice and glassy over a tropical riff. Exactly how Indo waves should be! After a short, but intensive surfcamp, Lisa have to say goodbye to Bali´s aurfcamp. But of course, no one leaves this island without having partied at least once. So Lisa went to the popular beach club “La Plancha“. On that note: “SELAMAT MINUM" (cheers), see you next time! More information about the Surfcamp in Bali here!
