Völkl

Völkl has been around since 1884, when they still used carriages, boats and sleds to manufacture. The first pair of Völkl Ski were produced in 1923 and were taken up for serial production in 1952. Necessary equipment like Völkl Ski Poles are also a part of the Völkl selection. Their first snowboard prototypes were made in 1986 and from 1993 onwards, Völkl produced modern snowboards for brands like Santa Cruz, Sims and Radair. That same year, they also began to put together the first pair of Völkl Freeski to make it even more fun to ski powder.

By that time, Völkl had so many years of experience that it was only a matter of time before they brought their first own snowboards on to the market. In 1997, they premiered the first collection of Völkl Snowboards, featuring the finest technologies. Of course, they also offer Völkl Bindings for a perfect match.

We all love to be out in the nature, feeling free and expressing ourselves through powderlines or kicker spins. It’s that feeling that Völkl aims for, and it’s the reason that they work in close cooperation with their pro riders to optimize all materials and technologies for their products.
