Sessions Brand Profile
Sessions founder and CEO, Joel Gomez, was already involved in snowboarding in the early 80s, when the firsts snowboarders still connected their boards to their feet with bungee ropes and were banned from ski resorts. His passion for skating made Joel interested in the upcoming sport of snowboarding and began to work on his future in the industry. In 1983, Joel opened up a retail store for snowboards and skateboards in Sunnyvale, California – the first snowboard-specific shop in the USA.
Despite a humble beginning, Sessions began to grow into an internationally renown action sports company. Through the years, Sessions gained a high recognition and won several industry awards for their innovations. The
Sessions Snowwear
was constantly adapted to technological developments. That explains why their outerwear, which also includes a
Sessions Snowwear Women’s collection, is so popular. Because the company is still deeply rooted in the skateboard, snowboard, surfing and punk rock music scene, it’s not surprising that there’s even a
Sessions Streetwear
line to make you fit for the streets. Sessions has always been an authentic brand that embodies the lifestyle and culture of action sports.
