What began in 2002 as a spontaneous attempt to buy white beanies and headbands and decorate them with hand-painted logos, soon became something much larger. Shaun Neff’s headwear was worn and promoted by pro snowboarders like Nate Bozung on the freshly prepared pistes of Utah. Soon he realized the potential to fill a market gap, and with the support of riders like Travis Rice, Likka Backstrom, Lauire Heiskari, and the skateboarders Lizard King and Adam Dyet, the whole story began. Today, Neff is based in Ventura, California and is worn by various pros in the snow, skate and surf scenes, as well as by several big names in the music and art industry.
