K2 was founded 45 years ago as America’s Ski Company on Vashon Island in Washington state, and was re-named to K2 Sports in 2003. Today, the company is an international portfolio with over 16 popular brands worldwide. K2 is never at home in one single place, but grew up in the backcountry of Baker.
