The DVS Shoe Company was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1995. A handful of skate shop owners and a pro skater named Tim Gavin are the fathers of DVS. Today, DVS is a world renowned company in the shoe industry. The founders have always stayed true to the mantra by which the firm was created – made for skaters by skaters. DVS sponsors some of the best skateboarders and is very involved in supporting important events in the industry.
