DEELUXE Brand Profile

DEELUXE comes from a long tradition of shoe makers that began over 100 years ago in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. Louis Raichle’s new shoe company grew rapidly and expanded the scope of hiking boots in the 1920s. In 1986, the first snowboard hardboots hit the stores, followed by softboots in 1988. In the mid 90s, Raichle was taken over by the Austrian company Kneissl, who began developing the DEELUXE snowboard boots line. Since then, DEELUXE has evolved into a strong, innovative company that works with a close relationship to their riders. This traditional bond still didn’t break when DEELUXE became an independent company in 2002.

The brains behind DEELUXE belong to Klaus Brandstätter, who has been working for some of the biggest brands in the snowboard business for many years before starting DEELUXE. He brought the company to the top of the industry, but never lost focus on what they can do best, producing high quality DEELUXE Softboots and DEELUXE Hardboots, some of the best boots on the market.
