The Blue Tomato Snowboard School was founded in 1988. Six years later, European Snowboard Champion Gerfried Schuller opened up his first snowboard shop in Schladming. He soon recognized the huge retail potential online and launched his website www.blue-tomato.com in 1997. In the meantime, Blue Tomato has grown to the online store with the largest selection of snowboarding products in the world.
